20 days...

Wow...it has been 20 days since I last put anything in here...crazy.

Anyway...Sabres vs Huddersfield yesterday...46-0 was a good result! Very enjoyable as well,and then beer on the way back...cant be bad!

Also,I have about 300 million pages of work to do...but I can't motivate myself! I had better do it for Wednesday actually...and then Thursday...this can't be good!

I suppose I had better get on with it...damn

A good night?

Superbowl last night! I'm sure that many people have their own views on the game. Universilly it seems like people are hailing it as one of the best superbowls ever. Understandable really, it had everything. Hero's, big plays, an underdog who looked, even if only briefly, like they may be able to pull off the shock. Spare a thought for the Cardinals, who after having an impressive season by their own standards came so close to snatching victory, only for Big Ben to come up with some magic right at the death.

In other news, the Steelbowl was contested yesterday as well, with Sheffield Hallam Warriors triumphing over the Sheffield Sabres 21-14. A hard hitting game in which neither team really deserved to lose.

Still...exam on wednesday...I really should revise,but I just can't get motivated for this one!

Such is life!

Cheese,chicken and a lot of wine...

Ok...so I have just consumed cheese and chicken, and a glass of wine. Very nice it was as well, my housemates birthday so I had to at least make an effort!

So...I had a rather heavy night last night...as people will testify to, namely those who I woke up when I fell up the stairs. Not the best thing I have ever done, but nowhere near the worst!

I wonder if people read this? It's posted as a link on my facebook...The joys of society turning from actually meeting people, to meeting them on a social networking site. Soon people shall meet in the street and email each other for a conversation, it will probably be much more efficient tbf,but that's not the point! Whatever happened to actually going and meeting people?

I shall probably make a comment on a news story soon...but for now I am going to go back to nursing my bottle of Coke and vitamin tablets in an effort to stop me from feeling as rough as I look...

Hurdles

MGT211...the words strike fear into the hearts of many...or at least those who took the module. Tedious ramblings and empty Coke bottles sum up this module. Thankfully, I took the exam today, and hopefully I have not failed catastrophically and I have managed to get the 2:1 I need!

I need a 2:1 because I am contemplating a masters...but that is in the future.

A lot of things struck me recently. The fragility of life in general really struck me. Every day we hear of deaths, murders...and it made me think. I think a lot, incase you hadn't guessed. But at this point, I was thinking about how people could allow this to happen. We have the technology to watch a film in the palm of our hand, or access all the information we could ever need at the touch of a button, yet we still haven't figured out a way to stop people brutally murdering others. Surely this is something we should look more into? I'm no scientist, I never professed to be, but surely there must be a way to stop people murdering? We can cloan sheep, and as useful as that is, there are better things to do with this technology! 

Still...as long as the doller rules the masses, we shall continue to have Dolly and murder...Alls there is left to do is to avoid those with knives!

The first of many...

Well...After much deliberation, I finally decided to get a blog. As shocking a turn of events as this is, it had been in the pipeline for all of 10 minutes, and I finally bothered to do it!

I will probably just put all the random links I gather on here, as well as various thoughts. Maybe if I can be bothered I will explain them!

Anyway...It's 23:47,and I have an exam in a little over 9 hours...that cannot end well!
